It was Judy Collins who once said, "Do what you love, and you will find the way to get it out to the world." I found my love in the art of photography and true to these words, I have followed my passion and found myself blessed to work in beautiful locations with wonderful people all over the world. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and throughout my life, I was taught as a daughter, a sister, a mother and a friend to recognise and respect the most precious aspects of life; those that we share it with. My photography immortalises those moments, holding forever those wonderful details that would otherwise pass and fade from memory.
As I have progressed in my career, I have lost the distinction between who I am and what I do. I am a photographer driven by feeling and the desire for expression, a connection that allows me to realise and work towards images before they unfold. My clients are subtly directed in a way that encourages them to be themselves and it is in that space that those bonds, those declarations of love can flourish and be discovered.
My approach to photography comprises two distinct philosophies. A lot of my work is photojournalistic, the main objective being to capture those unexpected moments, the finer details and the events as they play out, natural, relaxed and uninterrupted. I also specialise in an editorial style that is more composed and directed for dramatic and creative impact.
